Al madinah al munawara is home to al masjid al nabawi, the second most holy place in islam after the kaabah in mekkah.

It is one of the largest mosques in the world and a very important piglrimage site for muslims performing hajj.

This gift represented an outlined perpective shot of al masjid al nabawi; one embossed on the leather, and the other using gold foiling.the boxes were filled with ajwat al madinah; a date that is well known in al madinah al munawara.
