The design concept incorporated many different historical references related to the UAE. The integration of culture was very prominent in the process. Having said that, patterns were inspired by the Ghaff tree, as well as, displaying different modes of artworks, varying from traditional images from the past, and abstracted landscapes located in Dubai. Materiality and texture has an important role in incorporating culture and tradition. By saying so, different weaving techniques were used to embody furniture such as the seating areas to honour the traditional weaving method "Talli. Within the private office, wall claddings were inspired by the grouping of palm trunks. Modernising a traditional medium is an ideal way to integrate culture.
